When can I cowork at UNOVA?

Monthly members have 24/7 access. Day Pass members, however, only have access during normal business hours, 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday (except with prior approval – we sometimes have events on nights and weekends).

How do I become a member?

Easy!  Just visit our Members page, or, set up a tour and we will take it from there!

What should I bring to work at UNOVA?

Bring exactly what you would bring if you were going to work from a coffee shop or library (e.g. laptop, headphones, etc.).  If you bring it in, though, you should bring out.  We have lockers available for rent if you need it!

What amenities will I have with my membership?

All members enjoy access to UNOVA Coworking’s Member Portal, member events, conference room and event space rentals, beverages, printer, and high speed Wi-Fi.  For additional perks that may be included or available in your membership, such as lockers or mail services, please consult your Membership Agreement.

Is the coffee really free?

You betcha.  We regularly restock the air-tight storage container with locally roasted beans from Premium Coffee Company in Lackawanna.  The official “house” beans are the Tuscan Blend — a perfectly blended amount of Arabica beans with low acidity and sweet aroma that will surely help you get work done!  Coffee beans are on the counter.  Simply grind the beans in the similarly situated burr coffee grinder and follow the instructions on top of the coffee maker.  We also have a Keurig and a variety of flavors, including ones with biodegradable cups.  

Where are you located?

UNOVA Coworking is located at 29 Mechanic Street, right in the heart of downtown Springville.  Our location is a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from the Post Office, the Concord Library, the Concord Town Hall, numerous eateries and coffee shops, and right across the street from the police and fire stations (let’s just hope you never need their services!)

Can I bring a guest with me?

If your guest(s) will be with you all day, we ask that they purchase a Day Pass.  If you booked a meeting in a conference room, your guest(s) are allowed in that space for the duration of your booking period.  Members are responsible for their guests.

I talk on the phone – like, a lot.  Is that going to be a problem?

No, our space operates on mutual respect.  If you have a conversation that turns private, feel free to take it outside on our back deck, or simply step into the phone booth room.  We also offer private office space by the day and a large conference room, which you can reserve through our membership portal.

Do you have meeting rooms?

Our space has 2 reservable rooms for meetings:  a large Board Room and a small private office (a/k/a our Zoom Room).  Rooms can be booked online on a first-come, first-served basis.  All rooms feature A/V equipment.

Do you offer discounts for multiple members from the same company?

Yes!  Email us for details.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards or direct payment from a verified bank account when you sign up through our online portal.  Regardless of which method you choose, our online platform, Proximity, processes payments through Stripe, using industry standard practices and encryption to keep your data safe.  You can change your payment source anytime by navigating to the avatar drop-down menu on the right side of the page > Payment Sources  > Add Bank Account  or Add Credit Card.

Do you have storage?

If a locker is not included in your membership, they are available for purchase at an additional $10/month.

I need a fast and reliable Internet connection. What do you offer?

Members receive Wi-Fi credentials to access the Internet.  Our private offices offer wired ethernet ports, as well.  If you have issues with connectivity, we will be happy to help you.

Can I print?

Yes.  All members have access to our multifunction wireless printer.  We do not charge for copies, but please be respectful of your fellow coworkers and let us know if you have a large print job.

Can I receive mail?

Sure can!  Paid for mail services at UNOVA provides you with a personal or business P.O. box with a real street address.  You’ll receive a personal key to a USPS-approved mailbox (5.5″ x 6″ x 15″), plus package and delivery services.  We will safely set aside any large packages at the front desk.

Where do I park?

Practically anywhere you’d like.  Try any of the spots on Mechanic or Franklin Streets, in the small lot in the back of the building, or the huge municipal parking lot across the street at Heritage Park.  The Park also has EV charging stations for all electric vehicles!

What about electric outlets?

We’ve got you covered.  We will make sure you have all the power (and cords) you need.  Just ask.

Can I bring my dog? Kids? Service animal?

Well-behaved dogs with up-to-date shots are permitted in our space.  Please ask beforehand, and be mindful of your dog around other members, though.  Well-behaved kids with up-to-date shots may also be permitted… to visit, but not to cowork.  Service animals are always welcome, per NYS guidelines (and with a pre-planned playdate with Ashley!)

When can I start my membership?

Anytime!  Billing for membership dues is on the 1st of every month.  Join anytime you’d like, and your membership dues will be prorated for that month.

Can I change my membership if my needs change?

Of course!  You can change your membership anytime for a future billing cycle, but please send us an email to ensure any changes get applied.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes.  If you are traveling, we can pause your membership.  Just send us an email.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership anytime for a future billing cycle.  Please send us an email to ensure any changes get applied.

Can I purchase a Day Pass if I’m not a member?

Nope, but you can simply set up your FREE community membership and purchase the Day Pass.  Day Passes can also be added onto any part-time membership, should you need extra days in any given month.

Where can I keep and heat my lunch?

UNOVA features a full kitchen — fridge, microwave, oven, stove top, and (drumroll, please!) a dishwasher.  Please label anything you do not wish to share and keep your desk clean of any food items when you’re not there. 

Coffee, tea, or water?

We offer our members a delicious selection of free locally-roasted coffee and teas, along with filtered water.

I forgot my access code. Now what?

You can change your code anytime in your Member Portal.  When in doubt, just text us.

My company is moving, renovating or has grown out of its current space. Can UNOVA help us?

Yes, we’re happy to help companies and teams that are transitioning or are in need of temporary space.  Please contact us for more information.
